Tasting Room: Albariño Past the Stereotypes
Details
This recorded Tasting Room video will be available in the WSG studio on 17th Feb.
Summary
In this tasting video, Justin explores the incredibly versatile world of Albariño. Quite probably Spain's greatest white grape, the way that Albariño described is often shoehorned into a narrow and limited style that really feels increasingly clichéd. Here Justin tastes three brilliant examples of the variety all made in totally different styles, and goes some towards busting some of the stereotypes around this variety. This video helps develop a slightly more nuanced understanding of this brilliant variety.
