Congratulations to Diego Rech, FWS, for passing the French Wine Scholar exam with highest honors, with JWU in North Miami !
About Diego:
"I started my career as a cook back in 2000 after some time I became interested in wines on my first job in NY at a east Village trattoria. I started my wine studies working in Aspen, Colorado, a small town where a lot of good wine is consumed and traded. Every week great producers from around the world visited us, tasting us on their wines. Since then wine has become a passion.
I am a certified wine professional and a chef, I consider myself a restauranteur. I’m a Court of Masters Sommeliers Certified level 2 and a WSET level 3, Also completed the Italian Wine Specialist with the American Sommeliers Association, Now I’m enrolled in 3 Master Levels with the Wine Scholar Guild.
I found the FWS course very helpful to go in detail on the knowledge needed for the CMS Advance level."
