Congratulations to Michael A.Gustaitis, FWS, for passing the French Wine Scholar exam with highest honors!
About Michael:
I was a Lawyer by trade and about 15 years ago I began thinking about a career change. I have always had a passion for wine, so I took a part-time job at Binny’s in Chicago as a Wine Representative, basically a sales person. Since then I have been the Sommelier at Les Nomades Restaurant in Chicago, a sales person for Ventoux Fine Wine in Chicago, and then we moved to Saugatuck about 5 years ago when I purchased the Wine Sellers Shop.
I am currently an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommelier and have tried studying for the Masters. I had been in a rut with my wine studies, so I decided to try to take one of your classes to motivate me to study. I must admit that your class was very informative and presented the material in a different way that I had studied before.
I am interested in taking the Bordeaux Master Class to see how a Master Class differs from the class on France that I have just taken. If I find the Master Class very detailed, I would consider taking other Master Courses.
I am hoping that your teaching methods and class materials will help me prepare for the Masters Exam.
