Château Gruaud Larose

Another large Saint Julien property, densely planted on excellent gravel terroir and under organic agriculture. The property has belonged to the Bordeaux Le Taillan group since 1997. The cellars were completely renovated by previous owners Alcatel in the 1990s and still benefit from their forward thinking vision and investment including an anti-hail canon with a very impressive sonic boom. The new ultra-modern tower has a spectacular view over the whole appellation and is the perfect spot to understand the topography of Saint-Julien and neighbouring Pauillac.
