The Libournais - Pomerol
This stunning, small, moated château is so beautiful the Guggenheim family built a replica in Long Island America in the 1930s. The wines are as elegant as the château. The totally refurbished 18th chartreuse now has five luxury bedrooms and a beautiful dining room overlooking the lily-filled moat to welcome guests.
Owned by the Moulin family since 2014, in partnership with the Cathiards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, they revolutionised the cellar with spectacular concrete, pear-shaped vats ready for the organically-grown grapes of the 2016 vintage. Vincent Priou, has been in charge of Château Beauregard for over 20 years, and also oversees the 12ha Château Pavillon Beauregard in Lalande-de-Pomerol.
