Château Guibeau

Tucked away in the too often overlooked Satellites of Saint-Émilion, in Puisseguin with some vines in Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux, Château Guibeau is a family winery, organic since 2012 and certified sustainable since 1993. Third generation Brigitte and Eric are the perfect example of a family that lives and works amongst the vines and wants as healthy and as safe an environment as possible for their family as well as the wines and their clients. It’s not always easy on clay and limestone soils, but their freshness add elegance and vivacity to these fruit-driven wines. The blends are Merlot driven but if you can find it, the Pimienta, a 100% Malbec from their vines in Castillon no added sulphur is highly recommended.
