Clos Canereccia

Like many winegrowers on the island’s eastern coast, whose primary activity has long been selling grapes to cooperatives, Clos Canereccia chose to retain part of its production for estate winemaking. Christian Esteve, who took over from his father in the early 2000s, has driven a strong focus on quality—carefully selecting grape varieties, parcels, and, most importantly, refining vinification techniques. He uses amphorae for his namesake cuvées and crafts bold, complex wines, often through blends and varied aging vessels.
