Domaine de la Janasse

This 15ha estate is a solid cornerstone of the Châteauneuf firmament, producing robust reds and whites of estimable quality year in, year out. Today it’s run by the brother-and-sister team of Christophe and Isabelle Sabon. Their whites can be excellent in good vintages and their reds are reliably superb: their Tradition is often a smart buy, and their Vieilles Vignes and Chaupin are dramatic, long-lived wines that really deliver that Châteauneuf drama – particularly with age.
